About Haco Sp. z o.o. – equipment and steel structures

We have been active in the market for over 30 years, specializing in a wide range of equipment and steel structure production. Our modern machinery allows us to perform complex machining – milling, shaping, drilling, threading, grinding, and more. All structures can be equipped with electrical and hydraulic installations, and we provide professional surface finishing, including galvanizing, cleaning, and painting with primers and topcoats. We deliver products with Classification Society certifications, confirming the highest quality of our work.

 

Specialization in the extraction industry

Our cooperation with National Oilwell and the TTS Group opened new opportunities for producing components and structures for the fossil fuel extraction industry. For several years, we have supplied drilling system components for platforms, boom arms for deep-sea extraction systems, shore handling equipment, and outfitting for offshore service vessels. We deliver complete devices equipped with hydraulic and electrical systems, which undergo rigorous functionality and performance tests.

Partners and market reach

HACO cooperates with many companies in Poland and across Europe. Over 90% of our production is for export, with key partners from Scandinavian countries – Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Long-standing business relationships with foreign partners help us continuously develop and raise the standards of our products.

1989

HACO was founded at the beginning of Poland’s economic transformation by three well-known maritime companies:

  • Gdańsk Shipyard S.A.
  • CENTROMOR S.A.
  • MacGREGOR (FIN) Oy from Finland

They also became shareholders in the company.

1990

The company agreement was signed on August 24, 1989. Operations began in 1990 on leased grounds from Gdańsk Shipyard. Over the years, HACO expanded its production sites in Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Pruszcz Gdański.

1994

A consolidation process led to relocating all production to CENTROSTAL S.A. in Gdańsk-Kokoszki. CENTROSTAL became the main owner.

1995

Dynamic development began, with investment in new machines and technologies. The company shifted focus from hatch cover production to small ship structures and outfitting elements.

2003

HACO acquired its own land and became independent. The company moved fully to Pruszcz Gdański and began a new phase of continuous growth.

2019

A new three-person management board took over, committed to strengthening customer relations and developing the company further.

HACO celebrated its 35th anniversary – a milestone marking its achievements and position as a trusted partner in the industry.
